Positive confessions

I am really into Joyce Meyer lately, and am starting to apply some of her teaching to my life. Her tape series It Is Finished is amazing. I've listened to it several times, and there is so much there. I also am reading her book Me and My Big Mouth and that has been great too.

I am working on a list of proclamations about who I am in Christ, and what he has called me and my family to. Joyce suggests we make the list and proclaim it daily. She show us her list in the book and it is amazing.

One of the things she tell herself is "I'm dead to sin." I've tried this when I'm tempted and it helps. Joyce is big on speaking positively. I can be a negative person, so this is really good for me.

Anyway, I am chosen by God, holy and dearly loved, I am the righteouness of God in Jesus Christ. I am a new creation. I am seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus. How about you?
